We were proud to learn that this year Major League Baseball along with the Detroit Tigers chose Caravan to be the 8th annual recipient of the Jackie Robinson MVDBP award (Most Valuable Diverse Business Partner). The original ceremony was scheduled for April 15th, which is Jackie Robinson Day throughout the Major League, but due to inclement weather the game was cancelled. The game was rescheduled for July 19th, and over the weekend Chairman/CEO Brandon J. Bordeaux received the award during an on field ceremony. “We are extremely honored to receive this award from the Detroit Tigers and Major League Baseball,” says Bordeaux. “I just want to thank the Tigers and Major League Baseball for this award. Also, I would like to thank all of our hard working employees who made this recognition possible.” The award will be on display at the corporate office in Saginaw.
